With the concept of Dimension, one of the most powerful features of Dynamics 365 BC, businesses used dimensions as a cost center and frequently used dimensions to analyze income types, regions where revenues were generated or expenses.
Now in the new version, the problem of reverse registration due to incorrect size disappears. With the authorizations given on the General Ledger Entries screen, wrongly selected dimension values can be changed and new ones can be selected or a forgotten dimension can be added.
Another good development was the Default size feature used in basic cards such as Customer, Vendor, Bank, Stock, etc.
With the new version, you can limit the values of a dimension you define for the card you choose. For example, you want to analyze the revenues you get from your customers according to the regions where you sell, but you only sell to your X customer for regions A and B. In this case, you can select the A and B dimensions from the Allowed Size Values step after adding the relevant dimension to the customer card as Code Required. In this way, users can only post for this customer with dimension value A and B.
